As I wanted to cover a variety of things for this particular unit, I split it in two lessons, and they include:
An overview of what we will be studying every lesson of M7
A starter task (x2)
A variety of activities (vocab, reading, listening, etc).
A sentence builder to talk about work experience
Translation activities (both ways)
writing task with instructions and steps to section their writing task (I advice them to use 4 different steps - see picture).
Preterite and imperfect (explanation and activities)
Homework (x2)

This is a booklet of activities I have created for my Year 7/8 Spanish class. It could also be used for cover as it is quite self explanatory and includes lots of activities and vocab. This resource includes 11 activities for students to practice telling the time in Spanish such as writing the time shown on some clocks, or drawing the hands on the clocks according to a time given. It also comes with a word search and a crossword.

Miniwhiteboard games (translating short expressions or words into English, then into Spanish, and a fill the gap game. Each game has 10 prompts).

Speen the wheel. I included this in my last lesson but it has been incredibly successfull. Just make the PPT full screen. Click on “Spin” in the centre of the wheel and click it a second time to stop the wheel.
